Norlha needs your help to maintain its education project !

With your donations Norlha will be able to carry on its project to actively improve the education of the children in these high Tibetan valleys and guarantee them a better future.

The NGO is currently supporting 4 rural schools, that is to say 370 pupils from the Sichuan Province. Norlha promotes quality education by providing help with the infrastructures and the educational materials for teachers and for students. So as to reinforce education it makes the young people aware of health, hygiene and environmental topics. Norlha also improves study conditions by providing medical care and school meals. Many people in the valley are illiterate and the local population is aware that only education will improve the future of the young people.

The Tibetans value their children's education a lot, and are aware that learning Chinese and the mathematics is very important to find a job in this area. The Fedevaco (Fédération vaudoise de coopération) supported this project during a year but the requests are growing and it can't provide the expected support for this program. This project has run out of funding and greatly needs your support!
